Exner system of scoring
Spelled "Exner" Dr. Exner has developed the most contemporary, scientific, and widely used system for administering and interpreting the Rorschach Ink Blot Test. It is a system which has been heavily validated, and shows high interrater reliability. Although it does not have as much face validity as many other tests like intelligence tests or non-projective personality tests, the Rorshach has much more extensively been researched and validated than most of those tests. The system is quite difficult to learn, requiring in depth study, usually an entire course requiring the reading of several full books is necessary to be able to administer and interpret a Rorschach test appropriately.
