Helping orphans the way you would do it
Erik Nielsen was a Canadian Member of Parliament, and interim leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada in 1983, between the resignation of Joe Clark and the election of Brian Mulroney. Nielsen was a longtime MP for the Yukon Territory who also served as Deputy Prime Minister for two years from 1984 to 1986.

He is also the brother of actor Leslie Nielsen and this relationship became the pretext for an HBO spoof documentary titled The Canadian Conspiracy about how Canada was subverting the United States by taking over the media.
