English football league is a rather confusing term and may refer to:

• The FA Premier League - the highest level football league in England since 1992
• The Football League - the original English league from which the top clubs broke away to form the FA Premier League, now home to the next level of professional football clubs
• The National League System - otherwise known as the football pyramid, comprising England's many semi-professional and amateur leagues of so-called non-league football under the jurisdiction of The Football Association
