EAJ/PNV

EAJ/PNV (Basque/Spanish: Eusko Alderdi Jeltzalea/Partido Nacionalista Vasco) is the Basque National Party, a moderate nationalist political party from the Basque region.

The party was founded in 1895 by Sabino de Arana y Goiri as a racist, Catholic party and currently describes itself as Basque, democratic, participative, plural, aconfessional and humanist.

It was part of the Demochristian International.
