Downtown New Haven is the neighborhood located in the heart of the city of New Haven, Connecticut. It is comprised of the New Haven Green and the immediate surrounding central business district, as well as a significant portion of the Yale University campus.

Notable places in downtown New Haven include the aforementioned Green, the Green's three historic churches, the New Haven City Hall, the New Haven Free Public Library, state and federal courthouses, the Shubert Theatre, the New Haven Coliseum and the Knights of Columbus' headquarters building. Downtown also includes, as part of the Yale University campus, Yale University's Old Campus, the Yale University Art Gallery, the Yale Center for British Art, the Yale Repertory Theatre, the Grove Street Cemetery and Harkness Tower.

Downtown is bordered by several other neighborhoods of the city; Wooster Square borders downtown to the east, Long Wharf to the south, and East Rock to the northeast.
