Dimmu Borgir
Islandic folk lore "dimmu" (foggy) "borgir" (cave) said to connect earth with the infernal regions.Dimmu Borgir is a famous Norwegian melodic black metal band who got into the charts in several Scandinavian countries and Germany. 'Dimmu Borgir' means 'Dark Cities' or 'Dark Citadel' in Icelandic. There is an actual location in Iceland which is called 'Dimmuborgir', (note the lack of space and capital letter) where you can find remnants of volcanic activity that look a bit like ancient collapsed Citadel, with columns spewing plumes of sulfuric smoke.
