Daniel Libeskind

Daniel Libeskind (born 1946) is an architect who became a U.S citizen in 1965. He is a 1965 alumni of The Bronx High School of Science.

His recent projects include:

• the Jewish Museum in Berlin, Germany;

• the Felix-Nussbaum-Haus in Osnabrück, Germany, a museum dedicated to the life and art of the painter Felix Nussbaum.

• the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester

• the Spiral extension to the Victoria and Albert Museum, London

Most recently, he won the architectural contest for the redesign of the World Trade Center site which includes his popular Freedom Tower and Memory Foundations design.
