Helping orphans the way you would do it
Croup (also called spasmodic laryngitis) is a disease which afflicts infants and young children. It is characterized by protracted harsh coughing and fever.

It is most often caused by viruses, but bacterial infections and allegies can cause similar symptoms.

The word may also refer to the rump of a quadruped (see croupier).
