Creepshow is a 1982 movie directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King. It consists of five short stories: Father's Day, The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill, Something to Tide You Over, The Crate, and They're Creeping Up On You. The film is a tribute to the EC Comics of the 1950s.

Both The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill (orginally titled Weeds) and The Crate were previously written as short stories. The other three stories were written for the film.

The film starred Leslie Nielsen, Ed Harris, Ted Danson, and Stephen King himself.

The film was later adapted into a comic book illustrated by Berni Wrightson. A sequel to the film, called Creepshow 2, was made in 1987.
