County Dublin

Dublin (ÃÂÃÂtha Cliath in Irish) is the county that contains the city of Dublin, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Ireland.
County Dublin is located on the East coast of Ireland in the province of Leinster. It is the third smallest county in Ireland with a land area of 922 kmÃÂò (356 square miles). The census of 2002 recorded a total population of 1,122,600. It borders County Meath to the north-west, County Kildare to the south-west, and County Wicklow to the south.
Since 1994, for local government County Dublin is divided into four:
- Dublin City, in the centre
- South Dublin, in the south-west
- Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, in the south-east
- Fingal, in the north
