Classic FM
Classic FM was the UK's first national commercial radio station. It broadcasts classical music in a popular and accessible style.Its DJs include Aled Jones, Stephen Fry, David Mellor and Lesley Garrett. Past DJs include Paul Gambaccini and Henry Kelly.
It has also recently launched a digital tv channels playing classical music videos, Classic FM TV and broadcasts nationally on FM and on Sky Digital.
The station is owned by the GWR Group.
Publications include a Classic FM magazine.
There is also a Classic FM in the Netherlands, which has recently disappeared from the ether, but is available nationally on cable.
It transmits soft classical music 24 hours per day.External link
