Christopher Pike is a fictional character in Star Trek. He appeared in the pilot episode The Cage as captain of the Starship Enterprise, and was then played by Jeffrey Hunter. This pilot was rejected; although another was made, and the character of Pike was dropped.

He also appeared in the episode The Menagarie, a recycling of footage for the pilot episode. New footage was shot of him, after a crippling and disfiguring accident, and he was played by Sean Kenney. The character ended up living on Talos IV permanently.

The American author Kevin McFadden (born 1954) took that character's name as his penname.

The Christopher Pike Medal of Valor was named in his honor. The award was bestowed on Captain Benjamin Sisko for his leading of the recapture of space station Deep Space Nine.

A shuttlecraft named the Pike was carried aboard the Enterprise-D.
