Chōshi (Hepburn) (Japanese: 銚子市; -shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan.

The city's name in the Nippon-shiki and Kunrei romanization systems is Tyôzi, and in JSL, it is Tyoozi. Alternate Hepburn romanizations include Choushi and Chooshi.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 76,628 and the density of 915.62 persons per km². The total area is 83.69 km².

The city was founded on February 11, 1933.
