Carpathian Basin
Carpathian Basin (KÃÂárpÃÂát-medence in Hungarian) is a geographical term for the territory surrounded by the
Carpathian Mountains and which more or less includes the historical territory of the Hungarian Kingdom. That's why it was called the Hungarian Basin before, however there are 8 countries present in this region today:
Hungary, Austria, Slovakia,Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine (2004.)
