Canadian popular culture is mainly influenced by the United States and by its British and French ancestry. Canada is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world with a high immigration rate which allows for the assimilation of cultures mainly from asian countries, as well. Some things associated with Canada are: ice hockey, poutine, peacekeeping and Acadian music.
