Callanish
Callanish, also Calanais, is a collection of standing stones, situated on the Isle Of Lewis in Scotland.Dating from around 1800BC, the 13 primary stones form a circle about 13m in diameter, with approach avenues of stones to the north, east south and west. The individual stones varying from around 1m to 5m in height and are of the local Lewisian gneiss.
