Caerphilly (Welsh: Caerffili) is a town and county borough in Glamorgan, Wales. It is the site of Caerphilly castle built in the 13th and 14th centuries.

Caerphilly is the birth place of Tommy Cooper.

Caerphilly also features in the Sex Pistols documentary The Great Rock And Roll Swindle. Protests and a prayer meeting were held outside the concert venue, The Castle Cinema, on the evening of December 14th 1976.
