Blackacidevil

Time you got around to sponsoring a child
Blackacidevil (referred to as Danzig 5: Blackacidevil or 5blackacidevil on newer releases) is the fifth album from Danzig. It was released in 1996 on American Recordings. It was widely criticised for being a shift from heavy metal to industrial rock, and is considered a blatant attempt at making a commercially accessible release.

Vocalist Glenn Danzig fired his entire classic lineup of John Christ, Erie Von Detten, and Chuck Biscuits before the recording of this album. Jerry Cantrell (formerly of Alice In Chains) is featured on guitar.

The album was re-released in 2000 with 3 new tracks.
