Big Fish (2003 movie)
Big Fish is an American film released in 2003, directed by Tim Burton. It focuses on the relationship of William Bloom (Billy Crudup) and his estranged, dying father Ed Bloom (Albert Finney). Throughout his life, the father has told his son the story of his life through many fairy tales involving fantastic characters and places, depicted in sequences in which Ewan McGregor plays Ed as a young man. The son, now grown, wants to know the extent to which they are real. The film also stars Jessica Lange, Danny DeVito and Helena Bonham-Carter.
