Battle of Liaoyang

The Battle of Liaoyang (August 24, 1904 - September 4, 1904) was one of the major battles of the Russo-Japanese War. The Japanese victory at Liaoyang (now, and historically, a Chinese city) and Port Arthur led to the Russian defeat the next year, which in turn brought about the russian Revolution.
