Sponsorship the way you would do it
The Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) is the foremost Engineering University in Bangladesh. Located at the heart of Dhaka, the capital city, BUET attracts some of the best students of Bangladesh.

BUET was established in the late 19th century as a survey school for training surveyors. Later, generous grants from Nabab Ahsanullah, a renowned Muslim patron of Education and member of the Nabab family of Dhaka enabled it to expand as a full fledged engineering school. After the partition of 1947, it was renamed as Ahsanullah Engineering College.

In 1961, it was renamed as East Pakistan University of Engineering and Technology (EPUET). A partnership with the Texas A & M College (later named as Texas A & M University) was forged and professors from TAMU came to teach and to formulate the curriculum.

After the liberation war of 1971, Bangladesh became independent, and EPUET was renamed to BUET.
