BBC News Online

BBC News Online is the BBC's news web site and part of BBCi. Launched in November 1997, it's one of the most popular news websites in the UK with around 15 million visitors every month. The website contains exhausting international news coverages according to their regions, as well as British, Entertainment, Science, and political news.

The website also has many In Depth coverages of certain events in the form of a special series. Recently, BBC News Online Science Writer Ivan Noble was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and BBC started a popular In Depth series called Tumour Diary.

The site scooped best news website at the BAFTA Interactive Entertainment Awards every year from 1998 to 2001.
