Aqueous

Aqueous means either pertaining to, related to, similar to, or dissolved in water.

An "aquous solution" means that water is the solvent used rather than, for example, alcohol or ether.

Aqueous humor is the transparent fluid occupying the space between the crystalline lens and the cornea of the eye.
