Aqidah

Aqidah is an Islamic creed. The term is usually reserved for a more complex expression of Islamic dogma and doctrine than the Shahada.

Sectarian differences between Shias and Sunnis are often expressed in aqida.

It is claimed by some Sunnis that the literalistic Wahhabi aqidah is anthropomorphic, which therefore makes Wahhabis non-Sunnis.
