Anton Radziwill

Fürst Anton Radziwill Statthalter of Großherzogthum Posen stadholder of the grandduchy of Posen, was born in 1775 and died 1833.

In 1796 Anton Radziwill and Louise Frederike, princess of Prussia, were married in Berlin, Prussia.

Originally from Lithuania, the Radziwills had become very influential in Poland as well. The Radziwill family was in the 16th century elevated to imperial Fürsten or princes. One earlier Radziwill member had become governor of Krakow as Prince-Bishop.
