Aldershot Town F.C.

Aldershot Town Football Club were founded in 1992 by fans of Aldershot F.C when the latter went out of business. (Note that Aldershot Town was the original name of Aldershot before they joined the league in 1932).

The club play in the English non-league pyramid and in 2002/3 were promoted to the Nationwide Conference, the level of football immediately below the League.

Like the old league club they play at the Recreation Ground ("Rec") in Aldershot, and are known as "The Shots"
