Afterimage
An afterimage is a figure that is made by switching the colors of an object so that each color is replaced by the color that can be added to make gray. Where the original image was red, the afterimage will be green. Where the original image was green, the afterimage will be red. Blue areas become yellow and yellow areas become blue. Black and white also reverse.If a color that is not one of the psychological primary colors is in an image that you want to make an afterimage out of, make sure you know what psychological primary colors it is a mixture of and replace each one with its complement. Gray remains gray. Orange (red+yellow) becomes sea blue (green+blue). Lime (yellow+green) becomes purple (blue+red).
It is advised to hold up a blank sheet of paper after viewing the below image for thirty seconds to see the afterimage.
