The Adyghe or Adygei are a Circassian people of the northwest Caucasus people, principally inhabiting Adygeya (now a constituent republic of the Russian Federation). They are mainly Sunni Muslims. Their language is also referred to as Adyghe.


The Adyghe tribes are: 
Abzekh, Adamey, Besleney, Bjeduğ, Hatukuay, Kabardey, Kemirgoey, Makhoş, Natıkuay, Şapsığ, Jane, Yegerıkuay.

Nowdays they are living spread over the Republics Adygeya , Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia and outside these Republics in Syria, Jordan, Israel, Western Europe, United States and in Turkey where the largest population of the Adyghe is living
