Adrian Goldsworthy

Adrian Goldsworthy (born 1969) is a British historian and military writer. After studying in St John's College (Oxford University) he completed a Ph.D in ancient military history in 1994. Goldsworthy is the author of several books on the subject, including:

• The Roman Army at War 100 BC - AD 200 (OUP, 1996)
• Roman Warfare (Cassell, 2000)
• The Punic Wars (Cassell, 2000)
• Cannae (2001)
